OCA Alliance unveils OCA Micro Demonstration Platform

The OCA Alliance confirmed availability of the OCA MicroDemo demonstration platform to prove that OCA – a common remote control and monitoring language for digital audio networks – can run in lightweight hardware environments. The OCA MicroDemo runs on a 120 MHz Cortex M3 processor and was developed jointly by OCA member companies Focusrite, Attero Tech, and Bosch.

OCA Alliance member companies Yamaha Commercial Audio, TC Group and Salzbrenner Stagetec, joined d&b audiotechnik in presenting the current status and future vision of Open Control Architecture, as these relate to the AV Installation and Systems Integration markets, at ISE 2015. The OCA vision of a common remote control standard to the AV industry seems to be picking up momentum.
