Antelope Audio Introduces MP8d, New Eight-Channel Microphone Preamplifier with A/D Conversion

Antelope Audio introduced a new addition to its family of class-A mic preamps: the MP8d eight-channel mic preamp with A/D conversion. The new MP8d follows the success of the Zen Studio interface and the MP32 mic preamp, inheriting technology from both and establishing Antelope Audio’s mic pre design capabilities in an affordable and attractive solution.

Mark of The Unicorn is shipping its new MOTU 112D digital audio interface, which features MADI, AES/EBU, Optical and AVB connectivity. Introduced at the NAMM 2015, the new MOTU 112D is a flexible Thunderbolt-equipped digital audio interface, router, format converter and mixer.

During the 2015 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, Focusrite surprised with an expansion of its range of affordable audio interfaces, this time with Thunderbolt connectivity. The new Clarett units are said to be the “fastest Thunderbolt interfaces in the world” by the British manufacturer.

During the Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound 2014 show in Frankfurt, British pro-audio manufacturer Audient celebrated its first product launch since Simon Blackwood’s acquisition of the company at the end of 2013. The ASP880 8-channel mic preamp and ADC is “the perfect front end to any DAW system”.
