Flux Releases Positional Audio Plug-In IRCAM SPAT v3 for AAX/AU/VST

Flux has completed the migration to IRCAM SPAT v3 adding support for AVID AAX and 64 bit systems. Spat v3 introduces state of the art algorithms for room acoustics simulation utilizing advanced perceptive models, allowing for intuitive user interaction capabilities in stereo and surround configurations.

BBE Sound announced the release of their Sonic Sweet v3.0 Plug-in bundle that includes 3 newly “Optimized” plug-ins and a brand new bass enhancer (Mach 3 Bass). This new version makes the legendary BBE Sound available to broadcast, producers and musicians for all their recordings.

A dongleless version of Eventide’s UltraChannel 64-bit channel strip plug-in is available as a free download for a limited time. Eventide’s new plug-in features micro pitch from the Ultra-Harmonizer, stereo delay and a pair of dynamics processors and is free until midnight July 8, 2014. After that it will cost $249.

Avid’s S3L digital live mixing system now supports 64-bit AAX DSP plug-ins, allows I/O sharing and gain tracking across multiple S3L systems, and the S3 control surface can be used as standalone studio controller and audio interface to mix Pro Tools (and other DAW) sessions.
