HEAD acoustics Introduces coreA2B High-Performance Solution for Automotive Audio Performance Testing

Providing high-quality audio is an important part of modern audio systems in vehicles. For this purpose, Analog Devices has developed Automotive Audio Bus (A2B) technology, optimized for delivering superior audio quality. Now, HEAD acoustics launched coreA2B, a high-performance solution for testing audio performance on the A2B bus technology implemented on a measurement extension board for the company's multi-channel hardware platform labCORE.

Analog Devices announced that BYD Co., Ltd, a Chinese automotive manufacturer, has selected ADI’s Automotive Audio Bus (A2B) and SHARC digital signal processor (DSP) to build more energy efficient and eco-friendly vehicle platforms while enhancing the immersive audio entertainment experience for drivers.

Audio Precision announced support for multichannel audio performance testing of A2B systems and components in collaboration with Mentor, a Siemens business. The new software release for APx500 audio analyzers, supports connectivity with Mentor’s A2B Analyzer to deliver closed-loop, multichannel A2B audio testing. Following a technology demonstration at the AES 2017 International Conference on Automotive Audio in San Francisco, the solution is now available.

Mentor Graphics Corporation announced the Mentor Automotive A2B Analyzer, the industry's first third-party development platform supporting the Automotive Audio Bus (A2B) technology developed by Analog Devices. Introduced in 2014, A2B digital audio bus technology enables distributing audio and control data together with clock and power over a single, unshielded twisted-pair wire.
