Now, the British company announced its new CQ Series mixers, targeting simpler applications, where control is totally done on built-in touch screens or through a remote app for iPad. The CQ series includes the compact CQ-12T 12 inputs to 8 outputs digital mixer, the CQ-18T with 18/18 channels and built-in dual band Wi-Fi, and the CQ-20B 20in/8out digital mixer with Wi-Fi but no touch-screen, depending completely of the CQ MixPad remote app.

Following hot on the heels of the hit launch of SQ-5 and SQ-6, the new SQ-7 takes the same powerful XCVI 96kHz FPGA engine and adds extended control and I/O in a larger format, boasting 33 faders, 32 onboard preamps, 16 custom soft keys and 8 user-definable soft rotary controls, as well as advanced automatic mic mixers (AMM’s) fully integrated in the mixer, with no extra latency. Yamaha announced the first of a new generation of large format digital mixing consoles at the InterBEE (International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition) Show in Japan. The new RIVAGE PM10 features a new TWINLANe ring network backbone, able to handle up to 400 audio channels at 96kHz, features the RY16-ML-SILK mic preamplifier with digital modeling of Rupert Neve Designs’ circuits and new effects by TC Electronic and Eventide.
