In the case of the new Rotel DX-5 Stereo Integrated Amplifier, versatility abounds with HDMI ARC for seamless TV audio, a subwoofer output for 2.1-channel setups, and a headphone jack for private listening. Connected via PC-USB it supports up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD 4x, or 24-bit/192kHz audio via the coaxial/optical inputs. There’s also wireless Bluetooth aptX HD and AAC, or RCA analog inputs to cover all needs. The Rotel DX-5 is also Roon Tested, enhancing demanding high-resolution music experiences, together with the frontal precision volume control with 0.5dB steps, and 680 mV sensitivity.
Weighing 4.1 kg, the DX-5’s compact design features a full-color TFT display and an aluminum remote, blending elegance with intuitive operation. As with all models in the series, the Rotel DX-5 is available in black or silver, retailing for USD $1,499.
