The Qobuz music streaming service currently offers a comprehensive CD-quality music catalogue and a large selection of albums in high-resolution studio quality. Its streaming services are currently available in 12 countries, including the US, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
The Mu-so 2nd Generation family update means high-resolution Qobuz music streaming will be natively available across Naim’s full range of latest-generation streaming products, since the Uniti Atom, Star and Nova systems, plus ND5 XS2, NDX 2 and ND 555 network players, already received an update back in February 2020.
To enjoy Qobuz streaming services, users will need a Qobuz subscription: 30-day free trials are available via a link in the Naim control app, which is available for iOS and Android devices.
“It’s great to release another free update to our music-streaming family,” says Charlie Henderson, Naim Managing Director. “Naim owners can now seamlessly stream Qobuz’s high-resolution music offering to any or all of a wide range of products, from our entry-level Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation right through to our flagship ND 555 network player.”

“For decades, Naim has represented the best of high-resolution playback, making them a perfect partner for Qobuz Hi Res download and streaming service,” says David Solomon, Chief Hi Res Music Evangelist at Qobuz. “Both companies strive for world-class sound quality and both go the extra mile to ensure that no detail is absent from the music you love. The Mu-so 2nd Generation family certainly represents the very best desktop players available, not only with numbers but with real high-end sound quality. The Mu-so range is capable of astonishing performance and can resolve Qobuz 24/192 music files and rival many full-blown systems.”
