Logitech wants to help professionals who need to work with the old Windows laptop the company assigned to them, and still need to stay confident and connected in the next phase of hybrid work. The new Zone True Wireless and Zone Wired Earbuds from Logitech are targeted to be certified by Google, Microsoft Teams and Zoom cloud video conferencing platforms, offering a business solution that is designed to sound good.
As many workplaces make a lasting transition to hybrid work environments, being connected has never been more important for employees joining video meetings and collaborating from different locations. The new Logitech Zone True Wireless earbuds will upgrade video calls with a shape and fit that users will appreciate, while still being bundled with USB dongles for those old Windows PCs without Bluetooth that unfortunately still remain in office spaces.
Logitech designed a wireless and wired solution for business that essentially offers the audio that professionals will need in calls and web meetings. The Zone True Wireless earbuds are equipped with a premium noise-canceling mic and Active Noise Cancellation, sounding great to listen to music, but also for crystal clear audio on every call, regardless of distracting surroundings. This, along with a minimalist, modern design, enables a stylish look and a high-quality sound on video that helps users stay in the zone.
“Current wireless solutions force consumers to compromise between either traditional headsets that are not aesthetically suited for video calling, or sub-optimal audio performance,” says Scott Wharton, general manager and vice president, Logitech Video Collaboration. “With Zone True Wireless and Zone Wired Earbuds, you no longer have to compromise. These earbuds were designed so people look great on video calls and have best-in-class audio certified by the top video platforms.“
Bluetooth 5 plus the USB receiver for old Windows PCs provide a reliable connection between the Zone True Wireless earbuds and both a smartphone and a computer, allowing users to effortlessly join video meetings and phone calls, moving easily between their two devices - all with double the battery life of leading consumer devices - ready for every long video meeting.
A single battery charge keeps the Logitech Zone TWS earbuds ready for meetings providing 6 hours with ANC on, and 9 hours of music listening with ANC on. 5 minutes in the charging case yields an extra hour of talk time. Users can view the battery status in the dedicated Logi Tune app. The Zone earbuds also support Qi wireless charging so users don’t have to plug and unplug their earbuds each time with the included USB-C to A charging cable.
Additionally, the certification with major video conferencing platforms sets a higher bar for audio than leading consumer offerings, and for IT managers (who now need to care about earbuds people will bring to office...), it provides reliable performance across multiple devices within their entire IT ecosystem.
The new Logitech Zone True Wireless are available in two colors, Graphite and Rose. Alongside the new Zone True Wireless, Logitech is also debuting Zone Wired Earbuds for professionals and teams who want a professional-grade, plug-and-play option. The Zone Wired Earbuds feature dual omni-directional MEMS mics on the cable, and allow users to join from anywhere work takes them via USB-C, USB-A, and 3.5mm connectors. Both solutions are complemented with a dedicated app that helps users tune the sound on their devices, including an equalizer, and manage mute.
Logitech Zone True Wireless and Zone Wired Earbuds will be available globally in Fall 2021 with an $MSRP of $299 and $99, respectively. The Rose Zone True Wireless Earbuds will initially be available exclusively on the company’s website at www.logitech.com
