HELM Audio says their True Wireless offering focuses on bringing high-end sound to the TWS space. "At HELM Audio, audio experience is the primary product focus, understanding other true wireless brands haven’t prioritized sound quality. Additionally, with perfected ergonomics and silicon padding, HELM True Wireless Headphones feature a fit that’s secure and comfortable for commuting and working out with a scratchproof resilient body and water resistance," the Hong Kong-based company states.
The other main differentiator for a TWS product is the company's patent pending HELIX Antenna, which offers an extended range far beyond the industry standard of 30 feet — delivering up to an additional 70 feet (21 meters) or class 1 range. This is something that current Bluetooth BLE are not able to offer and a major reason why users like Apple's AirPods, since they can leave their smartphones, computer or any other Bluetooth enabled device on the desk or charging, and walk around the home or office without ever loosing connection.

Otherwise, the first product from the company is a pretty straightforward proposition and not exactly cutting-edge in terms of specifications. The HELM True Wireless Headphones are a Bluetooth 4.1 design using standard Bluetooth and EDR profiles, are rain and sweat proof with IPX4 rating, and offer 15 hour battery life (3 hours playing time per charge) with 1.5 hrs charging time. Inside each earbud is a single dynamic driver, a built-in microphone and a button for making calls or activating any voice assistant. Unfortunately, no details are given about the driver itself.
