Market demand for voice and audio quality in mobile phones, headphones, vehicle hands-free systems, in-car communication systems or IoT applications such as smart speaker is constantly increasing. These products all need to be tested according to the latest and highest standards. During MWC Americas 2018, HEAD acoustics’ acoustic experts on-site will showcase labCORE, the new versatile multi-channel hardware platform from the test and measurement specialist. The modular all-in-one solution offers a new dimension in data acquisition due to its numerous high-end interfaces, while new technologies can be added quickly and easily, making labCORE a future-proof solution.
With HRT I (HEAD acoustics Remote-operated Turntable) HEAD acoustics introduced a high-precision tool for orientation-dependent acoustic tests. The turntable rotates test objects to specific angles within a 360-degree range, in 0.1-degree steps and with an accuracy of 0.02 degrees. Furthermore, HRT I allows conducting all sorts of automated orientation-dependent acoustic measurements.
Voice recognition is another key topic in today’s market and HEAD acoustics will be showing how more and more applications rely on the company’s automated test routines for voice control systems with VoCAS (Voice Control Analysis System) technology for operation. With VoCAS, HEAD acoustics provides a turnkey test solution, using efficient and flexible software that enables objective and fast quality assessment of voice control systems under realistic and reproducible test conditions.
HEAD acoustics was founded in 1986 and has been involved in noise and vibration, electroacoustic and voice quality testing since its inception.
