Focal Presents New On Wall 300 Loudspeakers for the Home

After releasing its 1000 Series in-wall / in-ceiling loudspeaker in January 2021, French brand Focal now unveiled the On Wall 300 line. Attentive to all uses and listening needs, Focal has thought out and designed the new On Wall 301 and On Wall 302 loudspeakers for both stereo and home theater use, offering high-quality products that can be installed on a stand or fixed into the wall.
 
Focal is constantly pushing boundaries when it comes to the design and development of its Hi-Fi products. Produced in its Saint-Étienne workshops, the new Focal On Wall 301 and On Wall 302 models are on-wall loudspeakers to install around a television in the living room, delivering a top-quality experience for home cinema and stereo listening. They can be used with or without the front magnetic grille and the Focal logo can be rotated for use as a central, horizontal speaker.

While the accessories required for mounting the new loudspeakers in the wall are included, stands specially designed for the On Wall 301 and On Wall 302 models are also available as an optional extra. Always on a constant quest for more, Focal used the brand’s exclusive technologies, such as its Flax midbass speaker drivers, with cones made from French flax, and center aluminum/magnesium TNF tweeter, offering a superior listening experience, with clean, realistic sound, and a deep bass.
The soundbar-shaped cabinets are actually refined bass-reflex slim structures that can be used vertically or horizontally, with high power handling in a 2-way or 2.5-way configuration. Frequency response extends from 50Hz to 28kHz in the larger 302 model.

With refined shapes and an ‘angled’ silhouette, the On Wall 300 designs are installation speakers that are not meant to be hidden. Available in black satin or white high gloss finishes, they fit seamlessly into any interior. And the range can be perfectly combined with other Focal products, such as the 300 Series line of in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers, or the Chora, Aria, Kanta or even Dôme Flax loudspeakers.

Prices for the new On Wall series start at $1980 for a pair of the more compact On Wall 301 model, or $2980/pair for the larger On Wall 302. The elegant On Wall stands sell for $490/pair. Because they can be placed under the TV, used as center speakers or surrounds, Focal will also sell the On Wall 300 speakers individually, with the 301 costing $990 each, and the 302 selling for $1490 each. The new Focal On Wall 300 line will be available in the US in September 2021.
