Focal Presents Exclusive Symphonie 40th Anniversary Headphone Set

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, French high-end audio manufacturer Focal developed a collection of exceptional products, which were unveiled for the first time at the 2019 Munich High End show. The final package of the special and limited collection is the Symphonie 40th, a luxury case with two high-end Made in France Utopia and Stellia headphones, positioned to be among the world’s best. The Symphonie 40th set also includes an headphone amplifier, a Questyle QPM Portable Music Player and all the cables.
 
According to Focal, the Symphonie 40th set was designed to offer two sensational listening experiences. The range-topping Utopia open-back headphones can be used with the Focal Arche DAC & amplifier, both of which are made in France, and designed to offer the very best home audio listening experience. For listening on-the-go, the Stellia closed-back headphones, manufactured in Focal’s workshops, can be partnered with the Questyle QPM high-definition audio player.
 
For total user convenience and to take full advantage of the products’ performance, specific cables for each listening type are included: a 4-pin balanced Litz XLR cable to connect the Utopia to the Arche, whilst a 03/16” (4.4mm) jack cable links the Stellia’s to the Questyle player. Two other cables are included, allowing users to connect the Utopia’s to the player (mini jack adapter) and the Stellia’s to the Arche (XLR cable).  To keep the headphones safe, a sumptuously designed carrying case is also included, so users can take their headphones with them wherever they go.
 
The top of the range products nestle in a stunningly elegant case, available in a very limited numbered edition: 40 years = only 40 cases available world-wide. With a sophistication reminiscent of the very best trunk makers, the special case deserved a special finish, and Focal has adorned the box with Macassar ebony veneer, a noble variety of wood with a gleaming, satin finish. The inside of the case is lined with beige microfibre for a distinguished look and feel. The metal clasps and side handles round off this luxury piece.
