The program recognizes two levels of recipient – Honoree and Best of Innovation. Products that receive the Best of Innovation and Honoree designation will be featured in the Innovation Awards Showcase, presented by The Henry Ford, at CES 2017, Jan. 5-8 in Las Vegas, NV.
“The honorees stand as the best of ingenuity and design in the consumer tech industry,” says Karen Chupka, Sr. VP, CES and corporate business strategy, CTA. “These outstanding products exemplify the power and promise of the global consumer tech industry to produce breakthrough products and services that improve our lives and better our world.”
Each category has a three-member judging team that evaluates the products based on their engineering, design, functionality, consumer appeal and how they compare to competitors in the marketplace. The judges include highly respected consumer tech designers, engineers and members of the media.
