A reference in professional audio converters and studio interfaces, Apogee Electronics unveiled its new Symphony Studio Series, a new line of improved USB-C high-fidelity recording and mixing interfaces designed for today's music production needs. With three models offering 8x8, 2x12, and 8x16 configurations for up to 24-bit/192kHz recording, the Symphony Studio Series adds monitor calibration and control up to 9.1.6, with built-in input and output DSP.

The three products in the Symphony Studio Series provide no-compromise entry points to Dolby Atmos/Immersive Audio mixing and access to Apogee converters for recording and mixing. All three configurations deliver pristine audio quality found across the company's renown Symphony product line, from the Symphony Desktop to the Symphony MkII.

"The Symphony Studio Series marks a significant expansion of our product line, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to growth and development," says Betty Bennett, CEO and Founder at Apogee. "We’ve created a new standard for affordable, high-end audio, making it easier than ever for aspiring and established professionals alike to experience the pristine audio quality Apogee is known for."

The Symphony Studio Series comes in three configurations – 8x8, 2x12, and 8x16 – catering to a range of traditional and Immersive studio setups and needs. With best-in-class audio fidelity and a focus on immersive audio, each configuration offers a unique and accessible way to elevate studio work, starting with transparent preamplifiers with 75dB of clean gain.

The Symphony Studio Series seamlessly integrates with immersive audio formats, supporting up to 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos configurations and advanced monitor control. Users can tailor their monitoring environment with the included Control 2 software, featuring powerful calibration tools, 8 Apogee Monitor Workflows, and support for two subwoofers. And thanks to the built-in processors, these interfaces also offer precise speaker calibration. The powerful output DSP section offers Room EQ, Bass Management, and Speaker Delay, empowering users to fine-tune their listening environment for optimal performance.

And for recording duties, the Symphony Studio Series comes with the Symphony Studio Channel Strip software. This powerful input DSP plugin delivers professional-grade sound shaping with near-zero latency, including a suite of essential tools with EQ, compression, and saturation. To improve the studio workflow with the tactile precision of a dedicated hardware controller, the Symphony Studio interfaces work with the Apogee Control Remote, offering eight customizable buttons for adjusting levels and recalling monitor workflows.

The Symphony Studio Series features a USB-C connection for universal plug-and-play operation with Mac and Windows computers, supporting direct monitoring featuring near-zero latency.

According to Apogee, the Symphony Studio 8x8 ($2,799) includes 8 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs, and is ideal for surround mixing and hybrid studios using analog outboard gear. The Symphony Studio 2x12 ($1,999) is perfect for Atmos mixing and listening rooms, featuring 2 mic/line inputs, 12 line outputs, and support for 7.1.4 Atmos configurations. And finally the Symphony Studio 8x16 ($3,499) is a powerful 9.1.6 Atmos mixing machine with 8 mic/line inputs and 16 line outputs, equally adept for hybrid mixing and recording in professional studios.
