Ansys 2020 R2
The recently launched Ansys 2020 R2 software release already improves simulation and collaboration capabilities, leveraging high-performance computing (HPC) resources, virtual desktop infrastructure support, and cloud-based platform solutions. "Simulations that were taking us over a week to run are now being completed in less than two days," says Benjamin Steinhaus, Engineering Director, Coca-Cola Freestyle, The Coca-Cola Company. "Overnight simulations are now being done in an hour. By using the Ansys Cloud system that was provided to us, our team has actually increased productivity during COVID."
Automotive companies and manufacturers in many different industries are using these new platforms to engineer larger, more complex designs and apply complex simulation scenarios and virtual prototypes to reduce the cost of physical testing. Additionally, Ansys 2020 R2 improves deployment, scalability and performance of artificial intelligence software through multi-GPU parallelization.
