At ISE 2016, AV solutions and audio networking OEM design specialist Attero Tech launched the unDNEMO 64 Channel Dante Network Audio Monitor which makes it easy to monitor up audio channels on a network. The company also introduced its new unD4O Dante output interface, which the company says is the most cost-effective 4 output Dante device available.
Introduced at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2016 show, in Amsterdam, the new Attero Tech unD4O Dante 4 Output Interface is a cost-effective way to add up to four balanced line level output channels to an existing Dante based networked audio system. The unD4O’s small form factor and PoE power capability make it easy to put Dante connectivity wherever it’s needed - near the audio sink - thereby eliminating costly and interference prone analog wiring. The unD4O is powered by either external +24VDC or any PoE network switch.
At the same time, Attero Tech debuted the unDNEMO Network Monitor, an audio monitoring solution aimed at providing end users with a simple solution for selection and monitoring of up to 64 Dante audio channels. Network audio can be monitored over the built-in speaker, or through the conveniently located 3.5mm headphone jack on the front of the unit.
The unDNEMO also provides 2x2 bidirectional USB connectivity. It can be used as a hands free USB soft conferencing device, utilizing the internal mic and speaker or through the analog headset I/O interface. The unDNEMO has two network connections to allow Dante Daisy Chaining. Dante Daisy Chaining further simplifies system infrastructure wiring by allowing multiple unDNEMO’s to use a single CAT 5e/6 home run connection to a network switch. A unIFY Windows-hosted GUI is available for system setup, and can select any names for the audio flows to replace the native Dante flow names if desired.
The unDNEMO is powered by either external +24VDC or any PoE network switch, so audio, control and power are delivered on one CAT 5e/6 cable. Microphone support and USB connectivity allow the unDNEMO to be used for soft conferencing applications as well. Typical application venues include call centers, stock trading floors and brokerages, restaurants, translation systems – virtually anywhere that system users want to select from multiple Dante audio streams on the fly.
Attero Tech provides innovative, cost-effective audio I/O endpoint solutions utilizing Dante audio networking. Analog audio, USB, and AES3 are just a sampling of the connectivity options available from Attero Tech when bridging to and from a Dante network. From 32 channels down to 2in/2out, Attero Tech delivers unique Dante endpoint solutions that solve real-world problems.
