Founded in 2009 by Jason Lucash and Mike Szymczak, OrigAudio offers innovative solutions for music portability. As they explained to audioXpress, “both of us are marketing guys who recognized the need for a light, ultra-portable speaker. We met on the job, which required a lot of travel. This is how we came up with our “million dollar idea” for cool, portable speakers.”

Ken is of Malaysian Chinese origins, and studied in the United Kingdom, where he graduated in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Honors) from the University of Manchester, UK. Today he lives in a beautiful tropical island named Pulau Pinang (aka Penang) in Malaysia. Ken has a passion for DIY audio, in particular tube amplifiers, Tripath amplifiers, high-efficiency loudspeakers, and high-quality audio reproduction. Daniel Weiss founded Weiss Engineering in 1985. The company designs and manufactures digital audio equipment for mastering studios. Daniel graduated in 1979 with a BSEE from the HTL Rapperswil. Joined the Studer Revox company in 1979 as an Electronics Engineer. There he worked on analog anti-aliasing filters, test signal generators, sampling frequency converters and digital audio processing for a two channel DASH recorder. He left Studer in 1984 to start Weiss Engineering. Daniel is a Fellow of the AES and a Member of the IEEE.
