Dutch pro audio specialists Alcons Audio have announced the premiere of its VR5 mini versatile monitor system, designed as near-field sound reinforcement system for fixed and portable applications. The VR5 is the first pro-audio system to feature the patent-pending Alcons waveguide technology, to fully control the vertical dispersion of the pro-ribbon mid-high frequency transducer. The system was launched at InfoComm 2018, Las Vegas NV, as part of the Alcons Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience displayed on the Alcons booth.
