Blue Microphones Announces Bottle Mic Locker Tube Microphone System

Blue announced the Bottle Mic Locker, lauded as “the world’s most versatile tube mic system in one package.” Combining Blue’s flagship Bottle microphone with a variable sensitivity power supply and four of Blue’s interchangeable classic capsules, the Bottle Mic Locker provides access to the highest caliber blend of modern and vintage textures for studio recordings. Available now, for $5,999 (MSRP).

Blue decided to follow-up on the positive things achieved with its original Mo-Fi headphones and has now introduced Lola, dropping the built-in amplifier while maintaining the main positive things from its radical form-fit design. Lola shares the same custom 50mm drivers in a new lighter, slimmer design that actually allows enjoyment in comfort.

Blue Microphone announced the availability of Hummingbird, the small-diaphragm condenser microphone with an adjustable pivoting head, which the company introduced at the 2015 NAMM Show. A versatile recording tool, Hummingbird uses a precisely tuned diaphragm, based on Blue’s B1 capsule, allowing ultra-fast transient response and high-SPL handling.
