The design will be compatible with Apple’s MagSafe (and all the copycat magnetic chargers that are about to arrive in the market), just clipping into to the back of an iPhone 12 or 13. The Khadas TEA features the high-performance ESS ES9281AC Pro DAC, as well as LDAC and aptX HD Bluetooth audio from a Qualcomm QCC5125 chip.

The NFC Forum latest Wireless Charging Technical Specification 2.0 allows for wireless charging by enabling a single antenna in an NFC-enabled device to manage both communications between the devices and charging. Users who need to charge low-power devices such as wireless earbuds, digital stylus pens, fitness trackers, and other small consumer products can now do so from NFC-enabled smartphones and other devices, just by placing both devices directly in contact.

The micro-acoustics experts at Sound Solutions Austria GmbH have developed a compact actuator that is able to ensure stereo sound quality when used to transform the display of increasingly thin smartphones and tablets into a loudspeaker. According to the Vienna-based company, the new “Singing Display” actuator is ideal for space-saving, waterproof designs, extending the response beyond what is possible with conventional speakers technologies, by being applied directly to the back of the large tablet or smartphone screen surfaces.
